MADONNA's "STICKY & SWEET" tour on bluray,
for me to hold and cherish,

so, let's go!!!
aside from a bad wig she uses twice...
and a few shrieking outbursts,
usually involving some derivations of the "F" word...
which i could have done without,
the rest is flawless!!
the scenography is very dynamic,
the stage is expansive,
affording props and choregraphies comfortably;
the videography in the back is ever interesting,
including a few winks,
to britney, justin, keith haring, eurythmics and others.
the musicians look sharp in their suits,
and they play beautifully.
the dancers are fabulous.
the costumes are interestingly wearable
while being urban/ghetto/kink
and complete well the ensemble effect.

musically,
it is thrilling to see MADONNA revisit some of her classics,
with a twist,
along with more recent material.
my faves are VOGUE [obviously],
THE DEVIL WOULDN'T RECOGNIZE YOU,
and RAY of LIGHT !!!

to me,
MADONNA remains a most pertinent artist in the 21rst century.
but some might say i'm just being subjective here...
this DVD is beautifully shot,
the extra "behind the scene" is great to watch.
it is money well spent,
you get the best seat in the house,
and you know what????
i'm gonna watch it all over again...
