montreal has now been hosting this competition for 25 years.
a tradition a quarter-of-a-century old!!
we are proud of it
& have kept watching this year after year.
tonight,
to open the season,
a firm that is well-known & appreciated here,
has offered montrealers
a special presentation
to celebrate the event's 25th anniversary.
to be honest,
i may be jaded after all of this time,
but...
i've seen better from panzera s.a.s. ...
it wasn't terrible,
it wasn't great,
it was ok!!
the soundtrack was a mix of quebecois, classic,
mellow jazz & movie themes.
frankly,
just a mish-mash of anything & everything.
i prefer when a company sticks to one idea & follows through.
but it's just me.
from what i heard from the commentators on the webcast,
they were floored by this presentation.
i wasn't!!!!
to each his/her opinion.
still,
the season has been launched now,
& i'm looking forward
to those who will compete this year.
may the best company win!!!
BTW:
my cat is not looking forward to this
as she hid most of the time
underneath the sofa...
if only she knew
this is only the beginning
& will be a recurring event the whole summer through...
poor thing!!
