strikes back with "point de suture",
which translates as "stiches".
"degeneration" was our first look at this new CD.
not much on words,
but the beat is catchy,
& the video (shown below) is very much
in the tradition of mylene's videos:
impeccably produced
& definitely provocative.

the familiar voice,
evoking the usual moods
through the lyrics & the music,
it is not too different
from what she has delivered in the past,
but it sounds fresh & engaging.
you cannot remain indifferent
to her charms.
she will once more seduce you,
singing about pain, angst & despair,
hopeless love & crushed dreams,
but on a very upbeat sound.
i expect there'll be sufficient remixes
to keep people dancing
until her next CD...

Very dark manga album cover....
Glad to know she still has the same enjoyable voice and creativity.
Now why doesn't SHE run for politics?
she'd get depressed over the lack of result & might commit suicide...
she's better off singing.

Believe it or not but I, sometimes, fall asleep with an interview of hers playing on my MP3. Her speaking voice is so poised, soft and almost hushed - just how I like 'em :-)
