i'm halfway through the first season,
& i'll admit...
(awh, shut up!!!)
it is quite good.
some things made me laughed out loud.
if i had watched it on tv on a weekly basis,
i don't know if i would have stuck with it,
but to see it like this,
one chapter after another,
(no commercials...),
it makes for a pleasant time,
where we see the opposition
between freedom & conformity,
between obligations & being carefree.
what do you think happens???

i don't know
if i'll watch the 2nd season on tv this fall,
but i'm likely to grab it on DVD
when it comes out.
the characters are well-defined,
the storyline is interesting
& it reflects somehow
what our society has been through
& what it's all about now,
with a touch of humor.

i like it!!

just like me,
not so long ago...
a moving moment.
should i expect one too?????
nevertheless,
an excellent series,
& looking forward even more so,
to the 2nd season.

Oui, après les frasques de Mère Nature, les changements climatiques, la fonte de la calote polaire, je commence à croire que la fin du monde arrive!
D'autant plus qu'il semble avoir apprécié l'expérience!!

Je n'ose imaginer sa réaction si il s'était procuré la série "Rumeur"!!
Je n'ai vu que les deux premier épisodes des Étoiles Filantes. Cela semblait effectivement prometteur. Mais j'haïs être obligée de regarder la télé à des horaires fixes. Alors... j'emprunterai peut-être ses dvd?

ben oui, pas de probleme!!
moi aussi j'hais ca ecouter ket'chose avec des commerciaux,
mais tu vois, c'est grace a leur commercial que j'ai vu nombre de fois durant les olympiques que je m'y suis interesse. pour moi, LA serie quebecoise c'est "FORTIER". y a rien pour battre ca. je suis pas en boycott complet de ce qui se fait ici, mais j'ai plus l'habitude des choses americaines & europeennes. & j'ai mes exigences.
je jette un regard a l'occasion,
mais peu de choses retiennent vraiment mon attention. y a "survivor" & "C.S.I." qui le font,
mais y a plein d'autres choses dont j'ai vu le debut mais jamais la fin.mais je crois que s'il n'y avait pas d'interruptions publicitaires durant une emission, que mon niveau d'irritation serait moindre, me laissant plus receptif a de nouvelles choses. je finis souvent par fermer la tv apres avoir vu le meme maudit commercial idiot 18 fois......
